NEW YORK — A federal judge granted a member of the Department of Government Efficiency the ability to access the Bureau of Fiscal Services payment system, provided he undergoes hands-on training. Ryan Wunderly, who was appointed in February as Special Advisor for Information Technology and Modernization for the Treasury DOGE Team, has undergone the same security clearance process that applies to other Treasury Department workers with access to the payment systems. In allowing Wunderly access, the judge partially dissolved a preliminary injunction preventing DOGE from accessing these systems.
