SEATTLE — A garment manufacturer’s complaint will continue in Washington federal court against the holdings company that acquired the Rebecca Taylor fashion brand in 2019. The holdings company used Rebecca Taylor’s prior relationship with the manufacturer to order $1.7 million worth of garments without telling it about the business’s impending dissolution, and refuses to pay those debts post-dissolution. Because the holdings firm intermingled the Rebecca Taylor funds with its own and treats it as part of its group, it is obligated to pay the debts.
