BOSTON — The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, a locomotive engineer and the city of Beverly prevailed on a widow’s lawsuit over the death of her husband, who was hit by a train while biking across a pedestrian crossing at a train station. The decedent saw the train and tried to cross the tracks in front of it, but underestimated its speed, before he was killed.
