DENVER — The 10th Circuit ruled that requiring trans inmates to be housed with inmates who do not share their gender identity plausibly constitutes a violation of the Constitution’s equal protection clause. Most officials she sued enjoy qualified immunity, though, as the officers did not violate a clearly established constitutional right.
