SAN FRANCISCO — The Ninth Circuit upheld a lower court’s ruling clearing YouTube of claims that its automatic renewal terms violated two Oregon laws. The check-out pages for YouTube Music, YouTube Premium and YouTube TV contain the terms of the subscriptions in a conspicuous manner and acknowledgement emails sent to subscribers contain the required information. The court also found that users failed to show that YouTube’s cancellation policy violated Oregon’s Automatic Renewal Law and Free Offer Law.
